This patch makes all the blocked kaspersky licenses to working ,
from blacklist to whitelist, and it also protects them from blacklisting,
the “black.lst” file that is updated from kaspersky update will not be a problem anymore !!!

How to install:

1. Before applying the patch go to kaspersky-Settings-Service and DISABLE
Self-Defence option.
2. Delete Any current key you install in kaspersky.
3. Exit kaspersky by right click in the taskbar menu.
4. copy patch in to kapsersky lab folder C:\Program Files\Kaspersky Lab
5. Press Clean Button.
6. Then click to Patch Kaspersky Internet security or Kaspersky Antivirus (depends on what is the version you installed in your computer KIS or KAV).
7. Then exit the patch and Open kaspersky, enable self-defense option and apply a new key.
Thats all.
8. It’s doesn’t Matter that key is blacklist or white list………

NOTE: IF YOU DO NOT DISABLE SELF-DEFENSE WHILE APPLYING THE PATCH. KASPERSKY MAY SOUND FALSE ALARM, FOR A TROJAN. BECAUSE THE FILE IS DESIGNED TO CIRCUMVENT AND DO MINOR CHANGES IN THE REGISTRATION ROUTINE OF THE UPDATE PROGRAM ,SO THAT KASPERSKY DOESN’T BLACKLIST THE FILE, WHENEVER IT IS UPDATING ITSELF.HENCE NOTHING TO WORRY IF THERE IS A ALARM. IT IS NOT A TROJAN , AND IS SAFE.

Well, it has been some time I did write a post or moderate this blog,….. and I would like to apologize for that.

My job keeps me very busy so that I had to stop whatever projects I had going on here, at Keznews, my own blog, forum and web-pages. This is the last place that is still online and which is the roots of all little projects. Therefore I want to keep it going,… and hey I really miss it

Even until now people visiting this blog daily, I am amazed and very happy!

So,… thats it for the moment, just wanted to tell you that I am still around.

Cheers

Chinese-based ring counterfeited over £1 billion of software

A huge piracy ring involving Windows Vista has been smashed in China. The counterfeiting organization has been tracked by the FBI in cahoots with China’s Public Security Bureau, says the BBC .

Members of the syndicate pirated many different Microsoft apps including Windows Vista and Windows XP as well as the last two iterations of Microsoft Office. Microsoft says that information used to help track the pirates down was obtained from its Windows Genuine Advantage (WGA) software. Indeed it seems 1,000 fake copies made by the ring were tracked this way. The software had, according to Microsoft, spread so far as 27 countries.

The pirated software seized was worth as much as £250 million, though the ring is thought to be responsible for counterfeiting as much as £1 billion worth of software at factories in the Guangdong area.

A total of 25 people were arrested in the raids.

The day has come, it is over the happy Vista cracking era, and no it is not Microsoft it is a 3rd party security software.

Several user have reported that ZoneAlarm 7.1 did disable their Vista crack, the news are fresh and we can only speculate what is the reason for it. What we know is that Paradox and Vistaloader did not work anymore after installation of ZA.

ZoneAlram installs an unofficial Vista update during the installation, could that be the reason? Or is it just coincidence?

3 June 07 - Update: How to fix it!

dvdrw1024 Hi There.

I had the same problem. It seems that installing various software involving system drivers removes the OEM activation. Anti-virus and firewall applications are the primary offenders.

After re-installing Vista for many times I found out what is the problem….
It’s a Vista BUG !!!!!!! fixed by the following windows update:

“KB931573 Install this update to resolve an issue where you may be prompted to activate a pre-installed copy of Windows Vista. After you install this item, you may have to restart your computer.”

Many users of this forum warned not to use this update so I always left it out. It was a big mistake. If you update Vista with this update and then use the activation toolkit it won’t ever deactivate.

Hope I’ve helped

BURLINGAME, CALIF. - Right about now, Steve Jobs is probably seething. The reviews of Apple’s iPhone are in, and they’re great. But Apple’s chief is known to be almost as thin-skinned as he is secretive. This diva reads his press clips, and you can bet he’s already stirring up his minions as he prepares for his next performance: iPhone 2.0.

The iPhone may go on sale this Friday, but the gadget maker has no doubt put months, maybe years, of toil into the product that could soon make the iPhone obsolete. And you can count on every flaw picked at in this week’s reviews of the iPhone from The Wall Street Journal’s Walt Mossberg or The New York Times’ David Pogue to become a creeping nightmare for the iPhone team slaving away in a windowless arm of Apple (nasdaq: AAPL - news - people ) headquarters in Cupertino, Calif.

It’s still three and a half days until the device goes on sale, but in New York, fans are already lining up to buy the first iPhones

For an Apple devotee, queuing for three and a half days in the baking heat to be the first to get their hands on an iPhone is nothing.

And that is exactly what a group of dedicated Apple fans is doing. Outside the company’s flagship store on 5th Avenue in Manhattan, they have set up camp, and – flopped on deckchairs and writing blogs – are whiling away the time until the new device goes on sale at 6pm on Friday.

First in line is Greg Packer, a retired highway maintenance worker from Huntingdon, New York. Mr Packer told the CNET website that the experience of queuing for Sony’s PlayStation 3 in Long Island in November had taught him that “security will not let you line up at a mall for hours and hours”, so this time he’d chosen the streets of Manhattan instead.

One of the downsides of the Microsoft anti-piracy program for the Windows platform is associatedwith the false positives generated by the Windows Genuine Advantage mechanism. The WGA went live in July 2005, and according to Cori Hartje, director of the Microsoft Genuine Software Initiative, the tool processed in excess of 600 million unique operating system validations since that time.

In mid February 2007, Microsoft introduced an overhauling to the WGA mechanism following a preview made available back in November 2006. Along with the new installation experience for WGA Notifications, the visual redesign, and the revamped diagnostics pages, the most notable changes introduced to the mechanism involved a gray area for the Windows operating systems that it cannot clearly determine as either genuine or non-genuine.
