With respect, I don’t understand why a elite person like you is talking about zone alarm.
No.1 is Kerio Personal Firewall
No.2 Agnitum Outpost Pro Firewall (v4+)

June 14th, 2007 at 5:37 am
WOW!
You are the first. Some people like ZA others don’t. However, you got the URL out first, at least in my book. Keep up the awesome blog.
p.s. Even the so called “Gurus” on the ZA site do not have the link, they all are waiting for June 14, 2007…TODAY.
June 14th, 2007 at 9:57 am
@V50
it isn’t about which Firewall is the best and i do not compare it with any others.
ZA is my personal Firewall no1, and i’m more than happy if i can post the download link before it becomes official.
btw at zonealarm.com you still get the old versions, they must update it in a few hours.
June 15th, 2007 at 8:49 pm
What is the performance hit on Vista like with this new version? I don’t want to install it if it’s gonna make my system crawl. And also, does the existing serial that i’m using on XP now, work on this version?
June 15th, 2007 at 10:24 pm
Thanks SJ. Zone Alarm is a good firewall all in all. Just wish there were some keygens for this release.
June 16th, 2007 at 12:21 am
the XP serial won’t work, we have to wait a few days until the first ones pup up. I did try some 7.0 serials with no luck.
it does use more resources than ZA one year ago, however if you use another AV + Firewall + Antispyware you will have the same consumption
June 16th, 2007 at 4:55 pm
Anybody tested it on Vista? Results ? BTW,this version is free.
June 16th, 2007 at 5:00 pm
@Luko
no we did test it on Mac OS X and yes the version is free that’s why we need a keygen or serial,…..
June 16th, 2007 at 9:59 pm
the keygen dont work, it gives 1 to many digits
June 16th, 2007 at 11:06 pm
i did not test the keygen yet beacuse i can’t download from megaupload
June 17th, 2007 at 5:36 am
it works okay with vista ultimate…although it’s only a 15 days trial only. the other keygens don’t work. waiting for the scene ..
June 19th, 2007 at 7:05 am
Hey,
At last, I’ve found a keygen that works on with my Vista Ultimate!! YAY!!
Go to http://cnc.jsbeta.cn/article-1746.htm and download the ZAISS
Or direct link to the keygen
http://download.jsbeta.cn/keygen/ZoneLabs.Products.KeyGen.rar
Keep up the good work,people!
June 19th, 2007 at 10:05 am
old keygen !! don’t work ,do not download
June 19th, 2007 at 1:22 pm
STOP!! Disregard my earlier comment! Crap! After restarting pc… got the expires in 15 days.
Don’t bother downloading it… shucks.! Wasted my time..
Oh well, guess we’ll have to wait until proper keygen come in…
June 19th, 2007 at 3:28 pm
yap it did not work, and 99% of the links to a ZA 7.1 Keygen contain only the old 7.0 Keygen that is not working.
I’m on the hunt for serials, as soon as i found a good one, i’ll post it here.
June 22nd, 2007 at 6:54 pm
— snip — (by Blog Admin SJ)
ZA is installed on my xp for the last 3 years, and since then i have’t had a problem, i love ZA, and i want it to install in vista. Vista firewall and Norton’s sucks, which came preinstalled on my laptop.
— snip — (by Blog Admin SJ) , all the keygens available r not working.
Thanks in advance
June 25th, 2007 at 2:58 am
This ZA release is sturdy for Vista. I went through the beta until now, and it has come along way and is well worth the download. I too have not found a single serial or kegen for this product, hoping that one will weasel its way out soon, although it is early days.
June 28th, 2007 at 4:48 am
I just found some keygens that looks different from the 7.0 version:
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=QNXZG3GT
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=0SQOIEGQ
I already tried to install ZA on Vista but I got explorer, IE and all other programs disabled so if someone want to try these keygen… please tell me if it worked
June 28th, 2007 at 10:21 am
hey, thanks for sharing.
can upload the keygen somewhere else, ?
thanks /sj
June 28th, 2007 at 11:41 am
Diddnt work for me
June 28th, 2007 at 5:53 pm
Didn’t work for me,too. Tried on ZASS for Vista..

The search continues….. wonder who’ll be the first to post a working patch, serials or keygen…
June 28th, 2007 at 6:57 pm
well, i’m hunting for it, still no joy, all keygens called working with ZA 7.1 are fake till now,.. my ZA will run out tonight so i’ll try to reinstall, and will let you know if that works
June 28th, 2007 at 11:07 pm
Guys… com on, we need a keygen for this version!
To all crackers: CREATE A KEYGEN!!!!!!!!!!!
I loved ZoneLabs when the keygens worked, but now i think they are some bunch of jerks who dont want us to have fun cracking their software, they’re just like Symantec.
But i believe in crackers and hackers. and they will create a crack for this version, just wait till this version comes out of being beta.
June 29th, 2007 at 2:44 am
Um….This isnt beta anymore Hasan Saad
June 29th, 2007 at 5:40 am
yap it is not beta anymore, it the full version , but no key yet
July 1st, 2007 at 3:53 pm
the trial is over but looks like you can still use it. I havent reinstalled or anything, just click continue trial and works fine.
July 1st, 2007 at 5:53 pm
There have been reports that ZoneAlarm Kills some SLIC Emulator hacks, check out the forum for details.

that says the free version deactivates, but anyway im using the suite and vista is still activated
July 9th, 2007 at 7:03 pm
My ZASS v7.1 trial’s is over.
Installed the ZA Free for Vista and didn’t have the same problems with others. Also tried on on another Vista desktop pc but with the BootMgr installer with no problems… no Vista deativations…

Anyway, looking and waiting for the REAL patch or keygen for ZASS.
July 9th, 2007 at 9:14 pm
Is anyone even looking for a key lol. Makes me think yall aint looking that hard. I just found one and my ZA is activated on vista.
July 9th, 2007 at 9:16 pm
Guys…
Use these serial numbers for now, till the keygen is released:
5w0iu-paf4j-1j4q0-9vdc36-i8cw80
5w0iu-paf4j-1j4q0-9vdc36-i8cw81
5w0iu-paf4j-1j4q0-9vdc36-i8cw82
5w0iu-paf4j-1j4q0-9vdc36-i8cw83
5w0iu-paf4j-1j4q0-9vdc36-i8cw84
5w0iu-paf4j-1j4q0-9vdc36-i8cw85
5w0iu-paf4j-1j4q0-9vdc36-i8cw86
5w0iu-paf4j-1j4q0-9vdc36-i8cw87
5w0iu-paf4j-1j4q0-9vdc36-i8cw88
5w0iu-paf4j-1j4q0-9vdc36-i8cw89
5w0iu-paf4j-1j4q0-9vdc36-i8cw90
And for god’s sake, do some search on the internet for that freakin keygen.
July 9th, 2007 at 9:43 pm
27 digit serial numbers do not compute — ZASS appears to only accept 26 digit serial numbers.
July 9th, 2007 at 10:10 pm
Saads keys work, i found them by searching also, jsut make sure you dont retart your pc
July 10th, 2007 at 6:18 am
Saad’s numbers work on first installation and it gives 365 days. Following boot up it reverts to just a few days which seems to count down maybe 6 to 10 times faster than real time. Yesterday I had 4 days left, but by last night I was two days over expiry date. I searched every crack engine available, and even downloaded a new installation which came with a keygen, but it didn’t work (7.0 version) It will not accept any other of these numbers to start over again. Anyone know what to do in registry to make it forget the original installation date so that a fresh installation will revert to 15 days trial?
July 10th, 2007 at 9:47 pm
like i said before, dont restart the pc untill a keygen comes
July 12th, 2007 at 5:01 am
Not too sure what I have here, but it was claimed this is the serial for vista version of Zonealarm 7.1.078. In my excitement I forgot to note the website where I found it, but it is the one which gives a serial, but wants you to install a small program before it lets you see the full serial number, which is usually a trojan, and this made me suspicious if it would ever work. I managed to get rid of the invitation window which had conveniently placed itself over the serial and copied the serial as below.
As my trial period has ended my installed version may react differently to those within the trial period, but when I enter this serial in the ‘change key’ it told me ‘Your license key was successfully installed’ and on clicking on OK the new license key is shown in the entry box.
However, on OK for that window, it does not show the new license key in the ‘License Information’ box, retaining the initial license number as entered above, 5w0iu-paf4j-1j4q0-9vdc36-i8cw90
The ‘Support and Update Information’ box still reports that my service subscription expired on 10/07/2007 so I’m not sure exactly what is going on. Perhaps it will react differently if the trial period is still current? I have tried rebooting, but it still retains the initial license number as entered above, and reporting that my subscription has expired. If this serial works with others, I probably need a clean install to get a current trial period, but I’m not sure how to do this.
Use at your own risk, I’m just passing on the information as it is effecting my system.
Serial is 4su68 - 7s3fd - t9sei - r2qgfh - 9v3m6n
July 13th, 2007 at 5:07 am
Orc: Find and delete the following file (it’s the ‘remembered’ license data) and then retry entering that serial:
zllictbl.dat
July 13th, 2007 at 9:45 am
YES! That did it, using the new serial, allthough the original serial is still showing in the Licensing Information box.
So far showing 365 days validity and have rebooted several times just to test it.
Many thanks for that.
July 13th, 2007 at 4:06 pm
I just realized that it sucks on Windows Vista, it slows my system down, especially with Mozilla Firefox.
It also failed to pass PCFlank’s LeakTest.
I’ll wait till ZoneLabs completes their product’s compatibility with Windows Vista with all the features that I’ll get with xp.
I’ll just use Windows Vista’s built-in firewall.
July 13th, 2007 at 5:29 pm
you could try the latest KIS, they made a huge improvement now.
July 13th, 2007 at 9:43 pm
I pretty trust Kaspersky’s anti-virus, but not their firewall.
July 15th, 2007 at 7:05 pm
I have just installed the Kaspersky Internet Security and its cool, I’m settled with it till ZoneLabs fixes some bugs with their Internet Security Suite, and also till a keygen for ZoneLabs’ products is released.
July 15th, 2007 at 7:19 pm
lol, you see,… i was surprised with the new KIS too, the ones before i did not like very much and it did feel somehow buggy,…
July 19th, 2007 at 9:48 pm
Hi all. This is the best combination I have found for Vista that is free until a keygen comes out for ZA. I use Zonealarm free for vista alongside AVG antivirus free. They work perfectly in harmony with each other and are free!
July 19th, 2007 at 9:50 pm
In addition to my above comment. Kaspersky and Avast slow your internet browsing down quite a lot. Try the combination above. You won’t be disappointed!
July 20th, 2007 at 12:54 am
I use ZA firewall along with NOD32 AV.
Works like a charm.
On Vista Home Prem.
July 22nd, 2007 at 12:26 am
Cheers Ron. Although Nod32 antivirus isn’t free it is better than AVG and doesn’t slow your sytem down. I’ve tried it and will be keeping it alongside Zonealarm free. Nice one!
July 29th, 2007 at 3:33 pm
People please, zonealarm do not slow down vista. You just have to turn off some features in antivirus if you have some installed with zonealarm. If you have avast stop web shield in provider and it work just fine:)
And for zonealarm use this keys and you have to let zone alarm CONFIRM registration, it has to work. Bye:)

**=80-99
July 29th, 2007 at 3:37 pm
And something else,do not use other serials before that, maybe you’ll get some problems with key.
July 29th, 2007 at 3:48 pm
And I have to say, some of you use ZA INTERNET SECURITY, and talking about firewall. Here is ZA free only firewall and you would not have licencing problems
http://download.zonelabs.com/bin/free/1025_zl/zlsSetup_71_078_000_en.exe
if you want only firewall ofcourse. i use avast and ZA firewall on vista ultimate, and they work just fine:)

I could not find the “zllictbl.dat” file to delete. I am using home premium and it is still telling me ” 15 days …”
July 31st, 2007 at 9:44 am
Look here and here, BlackVista:
C:\ProgramData\CheckPoint\ZoneAlarm\zllictbl.dat
C:\Users\All Users\CheckPoint\ZoneAlarm\zllictbl.dat
July 31st, 2007 at 9:54 am
hmm.. i tried to search for that path too.. i don see checkpoint folder in my comp.. therefore no zllictbl.dat
July 31st, 2007 at 9:58 am
oh.. found
July 31st, 2007 at 4:11 pm
have tried all suggestions here, but licence is constantly reverted to the last accepted one or the 15-day-trial. any ideas?
August 1st, 2007 at 2:50 am
Thanks Tai, but I could not even find the “CheckPoint” folder. I don’t know what to do? I really like ZA used it before on XP and now with new laptop Vista Home Premium is posing a challenge. Need Help!!!
August 1st, 2007 at 6:25 am
Do you have your PC set to view hidden files/folders? I have ZoneAlarm free right now, and thus that is where I found the zlictbl.dat file. It used to be in C:\Windows\System32. I don’t know how good the MS ‘find’ command is — I use a program called File Locator Pro to find files, and to find text within files, including executables. Nonetheless, nobody has yet found a valid keygen, so until then nothing will work, apparently. For all the trouble it’s worth, I might simply buy ZoneAlarm Antivirus ($19.00) and be done with it. I use ZoneAlarm free along with Computer Associates Antivirus. ZoneAlarm used to use CA’s antivirus definitions, but now they switched to Kaspersky’s AV definitions.
August 1st, 2007 at 8:08 am
hmm.. that serial above don work anymore.. sad..

August 1st, 2007 at 4:58 pm
does deleting zllictbl.dat helps in someway?
August 1st, 2007 at 5:25 pm
hey guys, don bother looking for cracks anymore. because the method of deleting that file really works.. i am on 365 days now.. haha
August 1st, 2007 at 6:14 pm
[…] have reported that the trail period timer of ZoneAlarm 7.1.078 FINAL for Vista can be stopped by deleting 2 files, and some new serials have been reported to work, so check it […]
August 1st, 2007 at 7:56 pm
Glad you got in working, Nice. Yes, deleting the two zlictbl.dat files allows one to input a new serial.
August 1st, 2007 at 8:09 pm
DO U MEAN 2 zllictbl.dat files? omg.. i only delete one
August 1st, 2007 at 8:24 pm
but think i found 1 only.. which is in the programdata folder. but not under the all user folder.. and i found out that the 365 days turned to expired on 31/7/07. omg.. wad’s happening?
August 2nd, 2007 at 1:05 am
i found 1 only too!! but when i delete it, it appears again!!
August 2nd, 2007 at 1:16 am
it works at last!! i have the 7.1.099.000 suite version and i delete just the file in C:\ProgramData\CheckPoint\ZoneAlarm\zllictbl.dat and i shutdown ZA and start it again. The zllictbl.dat file come back but it works great ZA will expire in 365 days yeaaah
August 2nd, 2007 at 8:34 am
Although the zllictbl.dat file is in two locations, if you delete one, the other one disappears, too. That’s why you have only been able to delete one and then not find the other. They are tied at the hip.
August 2nd, 2007 at 1:32 pm
but i tried to delete the file and key in a new serial which was accepted for 365 days. and the next thing is when i restart, it turned out to be expired again. anyone has got any idea wad’s going on for this?
August 2nd, 2007 at 2:13 pm
NICE Says:
August 2nd, 2007 at 1:32 pm
but i tried to delete the file and key in a new serial which was accepted for 365 days. and the next thing is when i restart, it turned out to be expired again. anyone has got any idea wad’s going on for this?
it did it for me too, all you have to do is to put this key for exemple :
5w0iu-paf4j-1j4q0-9vdc36-i8cw90 resulting for a 365 days expiration.
but i notice that when ZA try to update the spyware database the licence expire again, so i entered the key above again!!! it’s says that it is successfully entered and the licence will expire in 365 days!!! the problem come from the update
August 3rd, 2007 at 10:29 am
oh.. so i have to keep doing that? haha. but i see my 365 thing working normal now.
August 3rd, 2007 at 5:58 pm
turn off ZA spyware or anti-virus!! No updates = no licensing problems.
August 5th, 2007 at 3:17 am
Neither method worked in any combonation. The best attempt was starting with a clean uninstall of ZA,then reinstalling the trial version which went back up to 15 days.Filling out the registration and key with the wizard during set-up both of which went through. While waiting for registration conformation,ZA had the old “system error please reboot” failure(for some reason).Left it on and eventually the registration was confirmed,365 days remaining.Rebooted because it had failed and wasnt working.Come back and it says update services ended the same date as the same day. Then deleting the .dat file and rebooting. An error message comes up “anti-virus has been turned off because update is failing(this could be due to internet clock being set back ect),please click here to update and turn back on protection”Another error message “anti virus error” and nothing happens.Reboot and now theres no anti virus/spyware section in the ZA security suite. This is getting as hard as evidence eliminator or norton AV.I think i remember there was a trick back in the good old days when all you had to do was put the key in,where you used it to shut off internet activity then put the key in or something like that.Perhaps the Admin could give us some kind of “step-by-step”If its not cracked by tomorrow im going to break down and go buy it ZASS is real nice…
August 5th, 2007 at 5:39 pm
u juz need a little bit more patience.
August 5th, 2007 at 8:30 pm
the strange thing is, that usually you have a crack, serials etc right after ZA comes out, they have never been that difficult.
August 6th, 2007 at 1:26 am
like i said, the problem for the expiration come from the update, but all we have to do is put this serial : 5w0iu-paf4j-1j4q0-9vdc36-i8cw90 or this one : 5w0iu-paf4j-1j4q0-9vdc36-i8cw91 when it expires. And evenif i do a manual update (the expiration will say that the licence will end tomorrow) i put one of those keys and here we go again for a new 365 days!! till now no real problem just as “jasyl” says turn off the automatic antivirus+spyware update and u’ll have no problem.
August 6th, 2007 at 3:21 pm
Someone should try and crack the file below:
C:\ProgramData\CheckPoint\ZoneAlarm\zllictbl.dat
So Zonealarm will always say 365 days….. anyone got a solution?
August 11th, 2007 at 10:07 am
Deleting those files resets the timer, thus giving an extra 365 days but how do you update virus definitions?
August 11th, 2007 at 7:32 pm
i tried not to do any updates and so on.. it works by staying 365 days available. but i tried running a scan and shortly after that, it becomes expired again.. haha
August 12th, 2007 at 1:28 pm
Yes, it’s pretty amazing, everyday i must enter the same key to have the 365 days, so update, scan or not it will expire no matter what. Next step find a real key that works for real.
August 12th, 2007 at 9:39 pm
You’ll not use it for 365 days anyway….
Soon, McAfee, Norton and other security software vendors will release the 2008 edition of their products.
I use Kaspersky ISS anyway, its pretty good for the antivirus, and the firewall.
August 14th, 2007 at 11:43 am
hmm.. for firewall.. try outpost.. light and efficient
August 15th, 2007 at 6:56 am
Thanks guys, I finally deleted the “dat” file and I have the 365 expiration date and I am runnig fine now it’s just say you want to scan the computer you can’t manually do it
weird but I am happy
August 18th, 2007 at 12:48 am
Thank you all. Finally I found I good blog. I spent hours finding a good one and finally I found a serial that is working on my Vista. Only words for 365 days but it’s fine. I used this one that Heffe posted in line 48
5w0iu-paf4j-1j4q0-9vdc36-i8cw**
**=80-99
Now my Zonealarm Security Suite 7.1 is updated and working fine for 1 year at least hehe. Thx guys!
August 19th, 2007 at 4:04 am
i think the real problem comes down to this.
when your PC is offline, ZA will report 365 days using the above hacks,
but as soon as ZA detects that your PC is online, it reverts to trial/expired/etc.
makes me think that ZA contacts home to check the key.
August 19th, 2007 at 8:35 am
5w0iu-paf4j-1j4q0-9vdc36-i8cw90 that works along with deleting the C:\ProgramData\CheckPoint\ZoneAlarm\zllictbl.dat file. (i’m using vista home premium)
as for the other people getting kapersky ISS, you know that kapersky traded their av engine for the za firewall right? so basically kapersky ISS and za ISS are the same. its on download.com in reviews if you dont believe me.
and for those of you using za free, it doesnt come with the OS firewall, which keeps out trojans while the za ISS does.
August 19th, 2007 at 7:22 pm
forget what you been reading on here ive used a key generator for zone alarm 7.0 to generate a number for 7.1 it doesnt work but after you install the serial number then click on the shaded line that says if your serial number doesnt work clik here you will get a web page at zone alarm you put in that serial number in then they will tell you it no longer a good serial number then give you a new one that will work copy and paste new serial in wola its that easy.
August 19th, 2007 at 9:00 pm
Old dude Says:
I’ve tried this one, but isn’t working for me.
What KeyGen you used?
August 20th, 2007 at 6:09 pm
Here’s the easiest way possible to beat it::when you get the reminder to buy it or have it shut down (and you are ominously warned that you will be left unprotected) simply click on buy it or whatever the top choice is, let IE or whatever browser you have set as default, go to the website and then close the browser. That’s it. ZA is still running and protecting you and you didn’t pay for it. Ta-daa!!
August 22nd, 2007 at 9:36 am
hmm how come there’s no crack after so long? is there a reason for this?
August 22nd, 2007 at 1:26 pm
Thank you for the Keys works!!!!!!!!!!
August 22nd, 2007 at 1:31 pm
ust gonna rebot to see wat the fuss is about but so far no Probs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
August 22nd, 2007 at 9:24 pm
i’m using za for 20days now, but the firewall did not block any intrusion yet, is it normal? those who have za on win xp notice a lot of intrusions being blocked by the firewall. why not in za on win vista? it sounds weird doesn’t it?
otherwise, anything works with no real problem (except the activate and re-activate and re-re-activate…)
August 24th, 2007 at 6:35 pm
Orif you are using one of the serial numbers below, just keep changing the last 2 numbers:
5w0iu-paf4j-1j4q0-9vdc36-i8cw80
5w0iu-paf4j-1j4q0-9vdc36-i8cw81

5w0iu-paf4j-1j4q0-9vdc36-i8cw84
5w0iu-paf4j-1j4q0-9vdc36-i8cw85
5w0iu-paf4j-1j4q0-9vdc36-i8cw86
5w0iu-paf4j-1j4q0-9vdc36-i8cw87

August 24th, 2007 at 11:53 pm
brahimsky,
Are you using a router with NAT to connect to the internet? If so, this acts as a firewall blocking incoming traffic which has not been requested by the client. In which case you should not see any intrusions from the internet in ZA and ZA’s firewall would primarily be used to monitor outgoing connections.
August 25th, 2007 at 10:13 am
No attacks blocked yet!
Keys don’t seem to work. My timer is back to 9 days… Will try to delete files..
August 26th, 2007 at 8:14 am
Hi, one of the keys worked fine but now the counter is counting faster!!! Help! It seems that every time I start the computer, I lose a day. I still have 11 left but ZA said already that my subscription is expiered. Anyway ZA is working but how long?
Maybe I have to find another Internet Security, any suggestions?
August 26th, 2007 at 2:58 pm
If I understood right, if I’ll use only ZA firewall and will block ZA from going to internet and will use another AV software (like KAV) for virus protection, then the serial will work fine?
August 26th, 2007 at 11:19 pm
Zonealarm in fact will not block anyhting with any of those serial numbers, I called techsupport and the guy said that they are aware of these numbers and that have already done something about it. To make it shorter you have something installed that does not work at all.
August 27th, 2007 at 1:32 am
Zeko,
Yes, If you turn off all features that connect to ZA servers and don’t allow it to make contact with ZA, it can’t check for updated blacklisted numbers. This would effectively mean it can only be used as a firewall. Connecting to their servers allows the serial number to be checked with their database, the timer to be reset and possibly as Muaitai suggests, the product itself to be disabled. A legitimate license would be required for a fully functioning product. Its curious that they did not release a paid version for Vista ie ZA Pro that does not require you to connect to their servers for essential updates ;-).
August 28th, 2007 at 4:52 pm
which means we need a patch, not serialz?
August 28th, 2007 at 8:56 pm
if zonelabs starts to back-up every serial that wasn’t issued by them.
August 29th, 2007 at 12:47 am
I just gave up, if any day soon someone come up with a decent crack or keygen fine, otherwise I will stick to Windoes Vista Firewall and Norton Antivirus.
August 29th, 2007 at 4:47 am
Muaitai,
There is nothing stopping you using ZA as a firewall with its spyware and virus scanners disabled and Norton Antivirus or any other product instead for these features.
August 29th, 2007 at 12:17 pm
will never use ZA again! it’s so CPU hogging and not user friendly at all.
Kaspersky Internet Security 7 is way much better and has a great firewall as well and btw, the .key is good until the year 2009 and 2010
September 4th, 2007 at 9:02 am
What i am doing is running the trial and deleting the files above every time it runs out rather than using keys which run out straight after you enter them
September 7th, 2007 at 8:34 pm
god damn you guys are stupidly wasting your time deleting files, trying different serials etc.!! I posted the fail safe solution weeks ago. Here you go again tards.

Actually, Jasyl, you are the idiot. In doing what you have instructed, ZA is still running, yes, but you will no longer be safe against new threats(which is all the more dangerous) after you have done that. The whole point is to find a way to have updates, otherwise, you might as well be sending an email to every hacker on the web saying how stupid you are.
September 8th, 2007 at 9:13 pm
Get Norton 360 instead, gave up on ZA for Vista. 360 is fresh build not like old SystemWorks, it’s now better/faster/lighter/easier than ZA, atleast on Vista.
September 8th, 2007 at 11:47 pm
funny thing. was having the same idea. unfortunately, there is no proper keygen nor crack for the latest norton 360 build, neither. the keygen by edge cannot enable telephone activation any more. or are you [citanul] using the previous build of norton 360?
September 10th, 2007 at 5:47 pm
Hi, instead of deleting those 2 files could you not change the attributes to Read Only. That way the 2 files cannot be re-written to??????????
September 11th, 2007 at 1:12 pm
ok. figuered out the problem with norton 360. do not use the trial version from symantec but the retail version with the edge-keygen. it is the same build. gives you 11 years of support. as far as i am concerned, i am fed up with waiting for a za crack that works with vista… cheerio.
September 12th, 2007 at 2:12 pm
hi all i deleted the two files that where mentioned above and have the same problem as other where each time the spy ware updates the key runs out and i have got to re-type the last numbers it is starting to piss me off big time has any one found a way around this yet. But other wise thanks for all the help
September 15th, 2007 at 9:21 am
EVERYONE!!
Make Zonealarm update Manually, and then follow the instructions…
Edit the zllictbl.dat file in notepad and delete all the gibberish, press save, change your registration to -
5w0iu-paf4j-1j4q0-9vdc36-i8cw**
**=80-99
and press apply.
Enjoy…
September 16th, 2007 at 12:23 am
SpudRick how do you then update the spyware and virus definitions?
September 16th, 2007 at 3:42 pm
thanks for that spudrick now the whole thing does not work i am going to have to do a clean install good idea but did not work for me any other idea’s

Really you f*ckin’ shit stain?! Update manually only Zone Alarm firewall itself (not the stupid malware and a-v in ISS as you should be using NOD32 anyway) whenever the newest version comes out, keep using the method I described above and you’re good to go. Who’s the idiot now f*cktard?

ZA does not protect you if you try these methods. it didn’t stop a single attack when I tried file deletion and these serials…
now using norton…

Hello guys last night i found this page and read it al. I tryed a few things and al with the same results as you guys had, until i read about the message to make the file zllictbl.dat read only and tried that out
First i used a valid key you can find it on this page shut down zone alarm made the file read only and started zone alarm again.
And until now it works i checked the version of the virus.dat and spy.dat after updating and it changes version number so i gues it’s working

Hello guys!
Respect for mcln27!
Your system is Work!
Thank`s
September 27th, 2007 at 12:05 am
hey guys.
the easiest way to install ZAIS for Vista is here:
(Thanks to mcln27 for some advice)
1. Install ZoneAlarm and restart the pc
2. Once logged in, insert one of the available serials:
5w0iu-paf4j-1j4q0-9vdc36-i8cw80 or 5w0iu-paf4j-1j4q0-9vdc36-i8cw81 or 5w0iu-paf4j-1j4q0-9vdc36-i8cw82 or 5w0iu-paf4j-1j4q0-9vdc36-i8cw83 or 5w0iu-paf4j-1j4q0-9vdc36-i8cw84 or 5w0iu-paf4j-1j4q0-9vdc36-i8cw85 or 5w0iu-paf4j-1j4q0-9vdc36-i8cw86 or 5w0iu-paf4j-1j4q0-9vdc36-i8cw87 or 5w0iu-paf4j-1j4q0-9vdc36-i8cw88 or 5w0iu-paf4j-1j4q0-9vdc36-i8cw89 or 5w0iu-paf4j-1j4q0-9vdc36-i8cw90
3. Make sure your Updates are set to manual (temporarily) and make sure your
support and update info say 365 days left.
4. Close ZoneAlarm
5. Find the file zllictbl.dat in C:\ProgramData\Checkpoint
6. Make the file read only
7. Restart ZoneAlarm and turn auto updates back on and change your necessary settings.
8. Done! Hope it works.
September 28th, 2007 at 11:48 pm
Hi, you’re not worried that their servers will log the fradulent license and your IP?
September 30th, 2007 at 10:24 pm
they sure can, but I dont think checkpoint has the $$$ to pursuit legal action
against all.

how can i update zone alarm to vista
October 3rd, 2007 at 1:56 am
unfortunately the solution of bernie did not work for me. i tried to reinstall zonealarm the way he was describing, but it seems that za remembered the old settings since it did not accept any of the serials and kept counting down the days left. any hints on how to uninstall and reinstall zonealarm properly? or: is anyone aware of a properly cracked version for vista? thanks

You probably need a clean (ZoneAlarm data-free) Registry before trying Bernie’s hack.
When you remove ZoneAlarm using Vista’s Control Panel > Programs & Features applet, ZA’s serial number is probably *not* removed: it remains in the Registry. At least this is the case with Win-XP. (I suspect that ZA also leaves all sorts of other data in the Registry, despite the fact is have been “removed”.)
Search the Registry for “ZoneAlarm” (without quotation marks) and delete all references to ZoneAlarm. I had to do this previously in Win-XP in order to install a new hacked serial number over an older one that would not work with the newest ZA version update. NOTE: DO NOT EMPLOY THIS TECHNIQUE UNLESS YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING. YOU COULD DESTROY YOUR VISTA INSTALLATION!
October 3rd, 2007 at 10:34 pm
Max_Real Qnx,
I hope it will not jump back again to 15 days. I write protected the file, as Bernie suggested, I hope that will help.
Thanks a lot! I downloaded and replaced zllictbl.dat and now I have again 365 days left
Thanks again!
October 10th, 2007 at 2:35 pm
the trick of making the zllictbl.dat in read only worked til now, hope it will not change. but i have one question, i still don’t see any intrusion being blocked why? did u guys have the same situation? for comparison, in win xp, i notice that right after an internet connexion the numbers of intrusions increment slightly and sometimes quickly!
PS : i use win vista, i don’t have any other firewall and i don’t use a router.
thanks
October 11th, 2007 at 1:29 am
Max_Real Qnx… It s not working

hi. i have zone alarm security suite 7.*something* and it works great now:D
i tried all the pisch posch you said and it expires in 365 days:D funny that it said that in 3 days now ^^ I read that some of you didn’t get norton 360 work properly on vista (N360 and ZA are great partners ;-D) but i did. the phoneactivation is there but it is not visible. i clicked around alittle (and pressed TAB and SHIFT+TAB alot) and after awile it just got there:D have patience and be stubborn ;);)
October 15th, 2007 at 10:50 pm
ZoneAlarm sux, its messes up my RAM. some programs also refuse to shutdown, even trying from the task manager. you can end the process as many times as you like, but its still gonna be running! only when you uninstal ZA that this problem subsides
October 16th, 2007 at 7:35 pm
ddfsf,
i agree with you, it’s still not working properly

November 1st, 2007 at 2:52 pm
Bernie’s comment (#122) is working fine for me so far…the AV and antispyware just updated nicely!
November 4th, 2007 at 11:40 am
I have had the files that are mentioned above as read only for about a month now and it all seems to be working fine. I also have the same as some one else has said and that is that it is not picking up any intrusions. How do you check that it is protecting your system or not. All looks good and says that it is working but is it??????
Is there a check that can be done to see if it is working.??????
November 4th, 2007 at 10:14 pm
Yea, there is. Go to google, search for “virus” + “.exe” Find a file you are able to download, and then run it. If your ZA catches it, well then there you go. If not, haha lol…
November 5th, 2007 at 12:44 pm
Yeah thanks for that but there has got to be some sort of safer way of checking any other idea’s apart from the one above.
But thanks any how.
November 8th, 2007 at 5:39 pm
Hi, A safer way used in the industry for testing av products, rather than using a live virus is http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eicar_test_file
November 10th, 2007 at 8:41 pm
testing the antivirus is a good idea, but what about the firewall engine, is it really working? no intrusion is blocked till now!!! i’m wondering if this version is good.
November 13th, 2007 at 5:50 am
Hey peeps I have not tried it yet but here’s a way to tell if ZA is actually working:
Install ZA. Don’t do anything- just let the trial run down.
After say 5 days look at the data and see if there’s any intrusions blocked. Another way to tell is- any program you start (that is internet-related, say Firefox) should cause ZA to pop up asking you “allow or deny?”.
If it works then go ahead and apply the crack stuff. After that wait another 5 days to see if the instrusion number had gone up. Or get a new program that connects to the internet and see if it works.

download the trial with the 15 day trial and every 13-14 days delete the files mentioned above, ( i only have been deleting, C:\ProgramData\CheckPoint\ZoneAlarm\zllictbl.dat, because i can’t find the other file,) and i have no issue.
December 6th, 2007 at 12:08 am
Just enter this key and youll never have a problem. it expires sometime in 2044. 3j6e1-en73j-a0sxq-vsmr6a-rs6sq it works for vista version of zonealarm internet security.

hey I tried bernies way (comment #122) but I can’t seem to find zllictbl.dat anywhere on the system. I was thinking maybe zonealarm changed the filename or they have hidden the file somewhere, is there anyway to track this file down or is a keygen available yet.

I have just found a keygen for ZoneAlarm Security Suite 7.1.099. The key worked (every key i tried, about 5 in total worked) and i had 65535 days remaining on the licence. But i get an “update error!” message. Is that to do with the key or not? If i receive help about this i will post a link to the exact keygen that worked for me.
January 4th, 2008 at 3:05 am
It worked its self out. How strange the ky has gone back to original one i stuck in when i first installed it. But hey, if it works, it works.

All you clever people out there, how do I remove Symantec from my register ?.It comes up protected. I have two entries in Permissions ‘Everyone’ and ‘System’. I am scared to alter SYSTEM in case I blow myself away. I have no Norton/Symantec programs on my machine (Vista Home Premium)

All the energy you asses put into getting a cheap firewall for free is stupid. Now be a good drone and install more cracks ok.
January 20th, 2008 at 8:15 pm
the method of making zllictbl.dat read only does NOT work. After doing that, ZA FAILED the leak test, meaning it STOPS working.
January 20th, 2008 at 9:00 pm
the method of making the file read only works to the extent of the key not blacklisted. However, the firewall does not seem to work properly. It fails the leak test after the file changed. does this happen to anyone?
January 28th, 2008 at 10:03 pm
i dont know if it really matters because of how long ago the last comment was but i think ive figured out how to get this problem fixed. with the help of a few of you on here i mixed a few instructions together and its working fine.
if you already have zone alarm installed then make sure zone alarm is shut down. uninstall it. make sure you have the hidden files showing through the control panel. then go to C:\ProgramData\CheckPoint\ZoneAlarm\zllictbl.dat and delete the file. go back to zone labs website and reinstall the security suite. begin the trial when it starts up for the first time after the install but make sure not to put a key in quite yet. go into your anti virus/anti spyware and update them. when they finish go turn off auto updates off. now input a key from # 122 up top. should say 365 days now. shut down zone alarm once again. go back to C:\ProgramData\CheckPoint\ZoneAlarm\zllictbl.dat and make it a read only file. and now start zone alarm and turn auto updates back on. and fix whatever settings you want. but its working for me like a charm.
thanks for all ur help i couldnt have done this without all ur commenters up there!!

thanks heaps steve?, if that is your name
i downloaded zonealarm security suit trial version
and then typed in one of those
serials:
5w0iu-paf4j-1j4q0-9vdc36-i8cw80 or 5w0iu-paf4j-1j4q0-9vdc36-i8cw81 or 5w0iu-paf4j-1j4q0-9vdc36-i8cw82 or 5w0iu-paf4j-1j4q0-9vdc36-i8cw83 or 5w0iu-paf4j-1j4q0-9vdc36-i8cw84 or 5w0iu-paf4j-1j4q0-9vdc36-i8cw85 or 5w0iu-paf4j-1j4q0-9vdc36-i8cw86 or 5w0iu-paf4j-1j4q0-9vdc36-i8cw87 or 5w0iu-paf4j-1j4q0-9vdc36-i8cw88 or 5w0iu-paf4j-1j4q0-9vdc36-i8cw89 or 5w0iu-paf4j-1j4q0-9vdc36-i8cw90
i tried every single serial, they all worked
all gives you 365 days, v.nice
although my brother found a keygen for XP and his XP computer has 50,000 days of free zonealarm lol
nevertheless
this guys done an (A+++) job to publish this to the public
THANKS MATE!
February 8th, 2008 at 1:45 pm
**UPDATE**
after 1 day, none of the keys work anymore
so disregard every single one of those keys, and the downloadable keygen
follow the instructions and delete the file that is said.
it does put your expiry back to 365.
=======================================================
Delete following files;
C:\ProgramData\CheckPoint\ZoneAlarm\zllictbl.dat
C:\Users\All Users\CheckPoint\ZoneAlarm\zllictbl.dat
Now the timer should stop or show 365 Days
========================================================
although i only needed to delete the first one because i only have 1 user with my vista laptop.
anyway, if i dont post anything again, that means the delete thing works 100%
this is my first day trying the delete thing btw
thanks again mate

hi, folks!
found a working keygen for vista-version 7.1.009 by FFF TEAM. search the internet, emule or torrent for it. got mine via emule. it works like a charm. gives you a properly working key for more than 64000 days (about 175 years).
below are some generated ones. try them if you do not believe me…

176 & 184,
What keywords did you use to search for your keygen? I cant seem to find any 7.1.009 version online. Was this a beta in which a keygen was created for? At any rate, please throw me a bone as to how I can find it if you see this post.
Thanx a bunch!

Nevermind about the keygen, that was easy to find. I cant seem to find the ZA 7.1.009 in English. Does anyone know if that version is available to be downloaded?

That keygen mentioned in post 176 which generates working serials…
I tried it… And just as he said… it really works.
Running my updates now.
Have not restarted yet.
Keygen can be found here:

Just remember that you have to do something like :
1. Install Zone Alarm Security Suite.
2. Remove C:\ProgramData\CheckPoint\ZoneAlarm\zllictbl.dat
3. Enter Licence.
4. Reboot.
Then after reboot on Product Info -> Support an Update Information is should say :
Product update service expires in 65535 days.
Best luck to all of you. Zone Alarm Rocks!
